It’s been great to be back working in the studio again after being in the gallery at Stourhead for 3 weeks!
I’m on a shortlist of 2 artists for a commission of a collection of paintings for a City company, so I’ve been working on some large pieces to be voted on by the workforce. I’m keeping my fingers crossed and will let you know next month how it goes!
I’m continuing my ‘Sticks in the Smoke’ London parks and gardens project. Last week I was at the impressive Whitehall Gardens in Westminster. Please do read my blog here.
I’m really pleased to announce that my ‘stourhead / fifty- two / twelve / four’ exhibition raised £1145 for Alzheimers Support. Thank you again for visiting and making it so worthwhile! Half the pieces in the in the exhibition sold, including a couple of pieces bought by the National Trust for their collection! I will continue to donate 10% of the sale of any of the remaining pieces to Alzheimers Support.
JUNE OPEN STUDIO
Once again, our ‘First Saturdays‘ open studio won’t be on the first Saturday of June, sorry! It will be on Saturday 11 June instead (10 – 5). Next week we’re off to Paris! (we made the booking a few weeks ago and then realised the clash of dates- whoops!) Of course, you’re welcome to visit the studio at any other time by arrangement, it would be great to see you!
On show will be some of my Stourhead paintings, including: ‘september / stourhead’, Acrylic on canvas 60 x 60cm (top). I’m also hoping to get some brand new river pieces finished off and hung.
