Blue-line

From his studio close to the banks of the River Wylye in South Wiltshire, Nick Andrew paints the nearby water-meadows, lakes, forest and especially the river in all seasons and times of day.

Nick and his partner, Tanya Hinton regularly throw open the doors of Bull Mill Studio to visitors on the first Saturday of every month. Open 10.30am – 5.00pm (or other dates / times by arrangement). Forthcoming:

Nick also explores themes further afield through plein- air drawing projects, His most recent project: CONFLUENCE (find out more + view images here), explores the sources, tributaries and confluences of the five rivers (Avon, Bourne, Ebble, Nadder and Wylye) which define and shape the geography of South Wiltshire. This collection was exhibited at Fisherton Mill, Salisbury during September 2025. A range of these pieces and drawings from previous projects can be viewed at Bull Mill Studio (see above).
