From his studio close to the banks of the River Wylye in South Wiltshire, Nick Andrew paints the nearby water-meadows, lakes, forest and especially the river in all seasons and times of day.

Nick and his partner, Tanya Hinton regularly throw open the doors of Bull Mill Studio to visitors. Forthcoming open studios (10am – 5pm): Saturday 5 October, Saturday 2 November 2024 (or other dates / times by arrangement)

drawing projects

Nick also explores themes further afield through plein- air drawing projects, His most recent project: SPiRE (find out more + view images here), explores 32 views towards Salisbury Cathedral spire from compass points outside the city. This collection was exhibited at Fisherton Mill, Salisbury in 2023.

The SPiRE project is now available as a book! It will be launched at the Chalke History Festival (see above). A4 format, 80 pages, full of illustrations! Price £20
