“.. I’m so impressed with your new studio – it’s comfortable, light and warm, with bird song on tap! And you do seem to have thought of almost everything one could want..
I found the day very productive, and my confidence has been boosted hugely by your constructive comments and I now feel I can see the direction in which I should be heading..”
(Art Mentoring student)
I have over 30 years art tutoring and mentoring experience, lecturing, running art courses and workshops, working with groups and individuals. My approach has always been focused on helping students towards their own unique way of making art.
My new art teaching / mentoring space, CART SHED STUDIO opened in September 2017. Develop your individual approach to making art in a purpose built and fully equipped painting studio in the creative ambience of Bull Mill, under my guidance and surrounded by stunning riverside, woodland and meadow landscapes.
Art equipment, easels and some art materials are available. Also coffee / tea facilities and wifi.
CART SHED STUDIO options are as follows:
Outline: On the first week we begin with an informal appraisal seminar, looking at a selection of your work and sketchbooks, discussing ideas, where you see your work progressing, what you would like to achieve and working out a programme for the 6 weeks. You’re free to work at your own pace. I will be painting in my studio next door and will drop in to see you every half hour or so to review how things are progressing, but of course I’ll be available at any point for guidance.
Dates: Forthcoming 6 week mentoring periods are:
Week starting 6 January until week starting 10 February 2020
Week starting 17 February until week starting 23 March 2020
Available days: Mondays, Tuesdays, Wednesdays or Thursdays.
Times: 10am – 4.30pm (or longer by arrangement).
Fee: £288, payable by bank transfer, cheque, or credit card.
